Ampliación del Centro

El Espacio Municipal de Participación de San Bernardo, que es el nombre oficial, aunque sea más conocido como Centro Cívico, va a ser ampliado en breve. La Concejala responsable del área se reunió ayer con las distintas asociaciones que llevan a cabo actividades en este Espacio para presentar el proyecto de ampliación del mismo.

Cuando se construyó el Mercado fue necesario hacer un sótano, que no dispone de ventilación ni luz natural, y que se encuentra en bruto, con algunas casetas construidas de manera ilegal por diferentes grupos musicales que las ocuparon hace años para ensayar. En la actualidad el sótano, que ocupa la misma superficie que el Mercado, está sin ningún uso y el Ayuntamiento ha decidido construir en el mismo una serie de locales para que puedan ser utilizados por diferentes asociaciones.

El proyecto, pendiente de aprobación por parte del Ayuntamiento, deberá después ser sacado a licitación y adjudicado, para poder iniciar las obras. La intención del Ayuntamiento es acelerar en todo lo posible el proceso, así que esperemos que se pongan en marcha las obras lo más pronto posible y podamos contar con estos nuevos espacios para aumentar la oferta de actividades a todos los vecinos.
